MACHINE HACKING #2
PROJECT Hacking the City |
The Bartlett School of Architecture
COLLABORATORS Zhu Lin, Anchal Shamanur
SUPERVISORS Enriqueta Llabres-Valls, Zachary Fluker
DESCRIPTION
Machine Hacking #2 explores an imaginative territory where the idea of mass customization is scaled up to an urban scale through 'hacking' on a machine. In this scenario, a hacked machine generates surfaces by printing chain mail structures made of composite materials based on the filtered mixture of event-twitter urban data as a combination of sensing and fabrication operations.
